Dernier diner á Paris
After the concert, we returned to one of our favourite local brasseries, Bistrot Mazarine, 50m from our apartment for the magret de canard. We followed the duck with a generous shared cone of gelato from the very popular Amorino around the corner on rue de Buci.
We are now back at the apartment. I should be packing, but I appear to be in denial that we are flying home tomorrow! Our flight to Dusseldorf leaves at 8:50 and we have a couple hours there before we continue our trip home to Toronto on Lufthansa. Both flights are in business class (booked on points), so we hope it will be a comfortable journey.
We came in to the city on the trusty RER B commuter train, but because we need to leave early we ordered a car to pick us up at 6am to take us to the airport. Another benefit is that the driver will apparently lug our swelling suitcases down the stairs from our 2ème étage walk up. :)
Bonnie Nuit!

You will miss those meals! Are you both looking forward to getting back into your normal routine including work?
Including work? That would be a stretch... But we are very excited to see the kids and go to visitors' day at camp tomorrow!
OK safe travels. Sorry you're not doing the race-looks like a nice ravine and then waterfront destination run.
