Morning run at Jardin du Luxembourg and Musée D'Orsay
The Musée D'Orsay just completed an extensive 2-year renovation, and the galleries had that fresh coat of paint smell. It was very crowded, and the line to buy tickets was about 100+ people long. Luckily, being the seasoned and sophisticated visitors to Paris that we are, we bought our tickets in advance at our local FNAC store on Boul. St. Germain, so we breezed straight on in. :)
Mark, you may be interested to know that the route along the perimeter of the Jardin du Lux is exactly 2KM long. We did it 3 times and then came back to our apartment and made up for lost calories with freshly baked baguette, Normandy butter, reblochon cheese and cafés aux lait.
